Doesn't the post counter work so that whatever particular post you're viewing, it will show the current total only? At least that's what most V8 bulletin boards do.

Yup the counter number changes with each post sent and will change automatically to that number for all previous posts. The same happens when you chance the Avatar. It changes it on past posts as well as on the current ones.

Hi There,
I understand your frustration, may be you are not getting the answers
you expect.
If you have overstayed your visa or VWP,it is ok as long as you intend
to marry a USC and subsequently apply for AOS here in the US.
Secondly no one will come after you if you overstay your visa.(they
least do that. Unless you pose a threat to the society or to the
nation or you put yourself in trouble such as successive DUI, drugs,
domestic crime, shoplifting etc .Then your visa overstay will be an
issue)
One might ask: what are the consequences of overstaying a visa then??
State dept, which approves visa petition while you are outside the US
takes visa overstay very seriously and more seriously than the US
immigration.
The consequences are:
==yOU might loose YOUR VWP privelege
==You might not be eligible for a visa. IT can even affect your k1
visa application ( not sure for k3 ).
BCIS might mistakenly approve and issue you Advance Parole document,
you might end up being sent back at POE.(very common).
WARNING!!!!!
You MUST NOT APPLY AND DO NOT INTEND TO USE ADVANCE PAROLE.iF YOU HAVE
OVERSTAYED YOUR VISA PRIVILEGE MORE THAN 180 DAYS and have a pending
application to adjust your status.
Patiently wait here in the US until your petition is gracefully
approved. then you can travel anywhere, IRAQ IRAN, AFGHANISTAN ETC.
hopefully this answers your question and cures your curiosity.
