help pls..
I am/was? on pending AOS status currently studying (undergrad ) in the US.I juz found out today that my dads ex-employer , who laid him off (before even 180 of filing I-485) withdrew the GC process 4 months back & that we’ll lose our AOS status soon. What/how are my chances to continue my remaining years of university study?
I have heard that it is almost imposible to get a F1 visa after you have shown intent of living in the US?
What is my best bet.....to apply for F1 in canada ...i am soooo confused...pls help..any advice is welcome !!! THANK YOU

Don't panic. While it is possible that the AOS will be denied based on the
employer's withdrawal, that is far from a foregone conclusion. You need a
good immigration attorney to sort this out.
As for your F-1 status: the I-485 may pose a problem, but once again, I
wouldn't worry about it too much. The reason is that you have plenty of
evidence that you will return to your home country. After all, with your
father losing the I-485, you would no longer have a reason for staying in
the USA.
