Hi Folks:

My wife got the K3 approval. The visa will be issues from Mumbai India. She contacted the consulate and they said to her that the consulate will receive paper work from NVC, is that right?

My wife offerred them to submit the original approval letter to open the file but they said they won't accept that.

Does any one know how long it takes to get to the NVC once it approved and then how long NVC hold it before they send it to Consulate?

hI SAHA, my first NOA from MSC 12 june 2002 and got my approval notice from MSC dated 1st nov 2002 .I did not contacted any congressman or senater just waited . Today I received letter from NVC that my file has been sent to overseas post and my wife will receive forms from overseas consulate.NVC letter dated NOV 12 - 2002.so it takes them 12 days approx. to process NCIC check.
