Help with my I-130
just mailed my completed I-130 to petition for my brand new spouse overseas. I tracked pkg and it was received at TSC in Mesquite on Friday, Dec 12. When should I expect a NOS or some type of acknowledgement from them? I checked today's mail - Dec 17 and nothing yet.

I think 1-3 weeks from the date the service center received your package is typical, so you could have as much as another 2 weeks to go.
Factor in that we're now in the Christmas mailing season, so add on another week before you panic.

thank you for your reply - somehow - I thought I was supposed to hear within 3-4 days and be given a case number at that point - I wont get all desperate until around xmas then.
