Hi,
I am looking for some help filing I-485 for spouse who has arrived on K3. I have read the requirement on USCIS.gov and called them as well and got more confused.
We have already submitted I-765 EAD request to Chicago.
What other forms along with I-485 should I send and what will be the fees?
Where should I file it? (local office or Chicago office?)
Do K3 applicant also need to file I-864 as we have already filed I-134 at embassy?
Do we have to file I-765 EAD along with I-485 or it can be filed separately?
Do we already include the fees for finger prints and for how much?
Is medical form required?
Thank you so much!

I,
Most of the questions you ask here are clearly answered on the USCIS web site by going to the forms section and selecting the I-485 from the table.
Read the section headed Family-Based Applications before going the to bottom of the page for the link to the form itself.
Regards, JEff

Thanks for your post Jeff, but not all information relates to K3 visa holder. As I mentioned in my above post, I have read it all but because I have conflicting information from different people, I wanted to clear it from other K3 I-485 applicant.
Thanks
Thanks

My wife came with K3 and we went to local office for EAD and they gave us a
bunch of forms including I 485, I 130 etc. I called them up to ask why I
need to file I 485, they said it is not a must. Obviously, we have already
filed I 130 to apply K3 visa and I 485 is to be filed only after I 130 has
been approved. So, we are going to file only I 765 and will wait for the
approval for I 130.
In the bunch of forms I got from the local office, the adjustment of status
packet includes
I 485 -$255 - with three USCIS approved photos
I 130 $130 (or copy of approval letter(I 797)
Beneficiary
G 325A for beneficiary
I 693 - Medical examination
I 94 - Original (arrival departure record)
copy of passport of beneficiary
copy of birth certificate of beneficiary with certified English Translation
copies of all Divorce Decrees or Death Certificate of all prior spouses
Petitioner
I 864 - Affidavit of support Imust be notarized) with Letter from current
employer or business license, letter from bank, complete copies of taxes for
the last 3 consecutive years
I 864 A Contract of household member with income or assets (if needed)
G 325A
Proof of US citizenship
Marriage Certificate
Copies of all divorce decrees
any additional information that would help with the adjustment of status
and send them to your local office.
And the previously filed I 130 will be forwarded to your local office.
I hope this is helpful

Kmz,
Perhaps it is required that the I-130 be approved to file the I-485 at your local CIS office, but it is not true at every local CIS office.
There are CIS offices that will accept an I-485 filing before the I-130 is approved.
There are also CIS offices that will accept and I-485 filing before the I-130 is approved if a new I-130 is filed with the I-485.
Regards, JEff

Thank you very much KMZ for your detail information. Is sounds like the answer depends on who do we ask question to.
I will check with our local INS office to see if they will accept I485 before approving i130.
Thanks Again for your info.
If anyone else have different take, feel free to post it.

Jeff
It is true that you can file I 485 before previous I 130 is approved on the
basis that you file a new I 130. But the lady I spoke to on the phone said
if you have filed I 130 for some time, there is no point filing a new I 130.
And you can file I 485 anytime after you receive approval for I 130.
I am not certain whether it expedites I 130 approval if you file I 485 with
a new I 130, but not in the States I am living.
