Default help/advice needed!

Hi everyone,
I posted a few weeks ago and nobody answered. Please can someone advise
me on a moving issue. My husband and I will be moving to Dallas next
month due to a new job.
We are right at the stages of applying for removal of conditions,
(I-751).

Do we just move, file AR-11 (change of address), and apply for removal
of condiions directly with the new service cneter (TSC). Or what should
we do? Any advice, or experiences, are much appreciated!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful festive season!

Hi Daisy,

My personal opinion is to move first, then file the I-751, as long as that doesn't make you late in filing it. You'll still have to do the AR-11 (and the I-865 for sponsor change of address), but at least your I-751 paperwork will have your correct current address on it.

Best Wishes,
Rene

greetings Ms Daisy

If your address changes, you should call the BCIS Forms Line
(1-800-870-3676) and request an "Alien's Change of Address Card" (Form
AR-11). Complete this form and send it back to BCIS . This form is
pre-printed with their address on it.

Best of luck

You can download this form at www.uscis.gov also.

Hi Rene,
Thanks for your advice. Yes, moving first is probably the better
option. Can I use the downloaded AR-11 form from the USCIS site to sent
to them? Does using a different service center usually cause problems,
as most of our evidence will be california based?

Thanks again!

Yes, you can use the downloaded AR-11 for your address change. I don't know for sure, but I don't think using a new service center would be a problem. Your evidence is from where you lived jointly before moving to the new place. Include evidence of your joint moving, if you can...that might help.

I thought you were a professional? Surely you know that it's much easier to download the AR-11 from www.uscis.gov, and a lot faster than requesting it be sent through the mail. Somehow, I thought you were smarter than that!
