I have a complicated question. I originally came over on a K1 Visa and
married my fiancee shortly afterwards. We filed for adjustment of
Status and got my conditional permant resident and my green card
which was valid for 2 years I think.

Unfortunatly my wife cheated on me and she filed for divorce after 2.5
years. I am due to file my to have the conditional removed.

Question is can I still file for this and what are my chances. I don't
want to have to leave as i am in another relationship and we are due
to get married next year. I have a full time job and my life is now
here.

Would it help if my now ex-wife would write an affridavit that she was
the one who divorced me for her own reasons and it was nothing I did
or something like that.

I filed all the paperwork myself up to this point, considering this
should I have a immigration attourney or continue filing it myself ?
