Congratulations and welcome to the US

If you are using Windows, you can set your keyboard up like an Enlish one.

Go into control panel and select keyboard, then language then English (British), click on ok, from then on you will have an icon next to the clock for keyboard language, you can click on this and change From AMerican to British and visa versa whenever you want to . The # key the becomes a £ key
