Has anybody got phone call to tell them go back to the consulate to pick up their K3 visa?
Has anybody got phone call to tell them go back to the consulate to
pick up the K3 visa after a terrible long time waiting for the
security check done?
Is really really frustrated being told the K3 visa pending and not
being told what's going on. It seems they just put the application
away and ignore it. Not a good service.

I am not surprised
One of my relatives had this happened at US Embassy in foreign country. He was interviewed, but wasn't issued the visa. And few weeks later, someone from Embassy called him to let him know that he should have been issued visa a long time ago. They stamped his passport when he went back.
It happens sometimes.

It seems not that bad he was called only after few weeks. Did they
explain why he didn't get his visa the end of the interview?
I hope there is a place for people to complain about such a bad
service.

Phone calls are done frequently.
My K1 was told to "come over to the emabassy and pick up your VISA,"
reminiscent of Bert Parks famous 'come on down' in the Price is Right.
I recieved a phone call from the US Embassy Chile to my work in the
United States (sort of like a mini-RFE) and they wanted just a little
more something for the interview.
Sometimes they surprise me.. :-)
