Hi All,
does anyone know how to chase up on my LPR card? My wife and I had our interview for my green card a month ago and we have heard nothing since. Talking with the interviewing officer he said he had no issues and could see our marriage was genuine, he said he has a few more things to upload to our file which should take no more than 48 hours and I should receive my green card within a few weeks. That was 4 weeks ago!
Can anyone shed some light on my next move? I contacted the USCIS and all they told me was they are still within time frame, but I thought they had to advise on the case within 30 days of interview?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Shaun

You won’t get much more than that from USCIS. If you want more info you can ask via whoever is the USC’s Congress person, but I doubt they would even do that at 30 days. Look up their website they usually have an office and form / contact who deals with it.

Mine just came in under 2 weeks after my interview. Got a I797 letter after about a week and GC 2 or 3 days after that. BE CAREFUL with your post. The GC packaging could easily be mistaken for junk mail. The letter that came after a week did state it may take 60 days, whereas at the interview she also stated 2 weeks. Mine was a removal of conditions and at Newark.
