Default GOT my IV stamped in Mumbai..Thanx to you all

hey guys, first of all got to thank you guys, it Wasnt possible without your help.
It was preety simple, I was just asked to present my marriage album, and few question what you plan to do, when you get there and stuff... Couldnt believe it ..it was dat simple.

The only part i was initially scared was my wife has no income, which I showed as 0 income and had a joint sponsor. Which turned out to be no problem. And finally all done. Well even though i dont plan to fly really soon.. but need to ask few things... Is it possible to extend the visa.. i know it expires in 6 months, but is there any possiblity to extend it.. coz just got a nice job.. and was wondering if its possible.

Another thing, in one of the forms they ask, who will be accompanying you, when you go to US, Initially i wrote my wife who is USC, but if she doesnt accompany me this time, and comes later.. is dat OK .. or do i need to inform to immigration people about this, or should i just ask her to accompany me, I was thinking it would have been nice, if i looked for appartment and everything first, and than asked her to come to US. so is it possible..

Thanx a lot again for everything

Congratulations! I don't know about extending the visa...hope someone else knows on that one. But I don't think it's a big deal on that "who is accompanying you" deal, especially when it's your USC wife. When we filled out that form, we weren't sure I would be returning with my K1 fiance or not. We put that no one would be accompanying him, just in case we couldn't return together. As it turned out, we did return together but never had to change the form and no questions were asked.

Best Wishes,
Rene
