Hi

Well I know this is a M-FAQ, but I thought I might have missed something.

I got a 221g refusal on Nov 22, 2006. Its going to be 3 months now and I still didn't hear anything from the Mumbai Consulate.

In the 221g letter, the consul has asked to me get some documents from my US employer and wait for their call.

Well I got those documents ready but no call yet. Do I need to get those documents, submit it to US Consulate and then wait for their call ? or Carry them when they call me ?

Is their a way of finding out the status of my case ?

At the time of interview they had returned me my passport and I-797 but kept my I-129, DS-156, DS-157, company offer letter (orig) and my current designation letter (orig)

One way to find out, is to call the Embassy and ask them to clarify your case. AFAIK, you should have mailed those required documents to the consulate and then wait for their response/call.

I think you were supposed to submit the documents.
Otherwise, how would they know you got them?
