Hi There
I came over in 2001 on a K1. I now have my green card and conditional
permanent resident status. I want to travel to Vancouver BC for a few
days in January with my Mother. WHat do I need apart from my Greencard
& passport....? Do I need to take anything else so I can get back into
the US (LOL)?
Thank you for your help in advance - Keely

Hi
Just flew back in from Vancouver. Your green card is what you need but you
should take your passport or other evidence of your a#.
I was there because my father died. Even though I thought I was carefull I
"lost" my greencard while there.
I had to go through a bunch of paperwork and fill out some form at the
immigration office at the airport. I luckily
had my passport with a# in it and my expired EAD card. They let me through
after an hour of checking me out in the computer and paying a fee.
I have found my greencard in some papers I had in my luggage but I was so
worried and upset at the time I overlooked it.

Yes I haven't seen my Mother in nearly two years actually. I am
looking forward to finally seeing her. Last year her & my Father were
coming out, but he died. I am close with my family & yes I am going to
Vancouver BC to visit some friends of hers & go out & about with my
Mother. Why do you have a problem with that?
