Default getting married on a B2

I'm a belgian citizen and I'm getting married (by the civil law only) in
Brussels on November 29,2002 with a US citizen living in Miami.
She will come in november and will be back in Florida on december 5,2002.
I will travel to Miami with my family on December 22,2002 to get married
there by the church on January.
I'm traveling with a B2 visa which will be expired in May 2003. I asked last
year for a B2 visa so I can stay longer when I was traveling to see her.
The thing is that there is an anotation on the visa saying : visiting US
citizen fiancee for 2 weeks in Miami.
I went to pick up some papers for her at the US embassy in Brussels and they
told me it was better to apply for a new visa before I leave on december 22
because of this anotation .. The visa is still valid at this time but not
the anotation because we will be married at this time by the civil law !
What can I do ? just travel one more time to US like this ? or change the
visa and get a new B2 ? showing them we are married ?
or simply apply for the residency ?
PS : after we get married by the church in Miami in January, she will be
back with me to live here together in Belgium... in a way we don't plan to
stay in the US now but in 3 years
