Default GC Holder With I94

Hi,

I am a green card holder who traveled to Europe about one year ago.
Upon my return to USA, the immigration officer gave me a I94 card.
I thought PR do not need I94 cards.

Also I traveled with US airways and I heard that they have a test program
for specific European Airports where the I94 card is part of the airline
boarding pass. Is this true.

I am traveling to Europe again. Do I need to surrender I94 card to the
airline officials upon departure

Thanks In advance for all your help

What do you mean, gave you an I-94? Did you fill one out?
As a PR, you don't need an I-94.

Used to be. But my understanding is that this pilot program is over.
