G325A: File Number = Alien Registration Number?

G325A: File Number = Alien Registration Number?
At the top of the G325A, it asks for the File Number, which starts with an "A".
At the bottom of this form, it asks for the Alien Registration Number. Are these two one and the same?
Is the Alien Registration Number what appears on the I-797C and the Visa?
