I am now filling G-325a form.. On that form It is asking for File Number that starts
with Letter "A". This is right next to Nationality Box on the form. What is this file
number, Is it my citizenship number or my Alien Registration Number. I will be filing
for fiancee visa for the first time. Help would be appreciated. Thanks Kamal

It Refers to an Alien Registration number which you probably dont have yet, so write none.

If you have an alien number then you put yours on your 325a and if your fiance has
that would go on their form. If you do not have one, put none in the box.

The A#, or File Number is given to all aliens when they start a visa process. I
won't assume, but you may have such a number, it starts with "A". Since your name is
Kamalpreet, I think you probably have an A#. You put YOURS on your G-325A and if
your fiancée has one you put it on her form. If either of you do not have an A#, you
write "None" in the blank. As for Nationality, unless you are a naturalized US Citz,
you put your original country of origin. If you ARE a USC, then you put USA in the
blank as that is now your nationality.
