I dont want to bug and sound stupid, because then people will stop helping me.

on the I130 form it states, with the exception of the names and signature i do not need to fill in the G325A.

My understanding of this means, only fill in the Family Name First Name details etc, and the signature, is this correct.

I have filled in the forms completely but just wandered

I think you did well by filling them in completely. Never hurts to be over-prepared just in case the forms get separated somehow.

I might have lost some of the questions coming in late on this thread.

1) If there isn't enough room on the G-325A for full address or
employment history, complete the history on a separate sheet of paper.
I recommend including four copies of the separate sheet and interleaving
them with the four pages of the G-325A. Put "See Addendum" on the
actual G-325A in the block where you have listed the addresses and
highlight it so that it is seen.

2) "Present" employment would actually come first. List employment
history in reverse order, newest to oldest.

3) Check "Other" and put "relative visa petition" or "I-130 petition"

4) Last address outside of U.S. of more than one year means exactly
that, regardless of how long ago it was.

5) Fill in the whole form notwithstanding contrary suggestion on the I-130.
