Default G-325A questions

1) The instructions for for I-130 says "a completed form G-325A for you and your spouse". Does that mean "1" each of the form, or must I submit all 4 copies that are in the pdf for the form for each of us?

2)The last part of the form has the question "This form is submitted in connection with an application for". the choices include "status as permanent resident" and "other". Since we're applying for permanent residence for me as a result of our marriage, should I mark this box?

3)The former employment and residence last 5 yeasr questions: If the answers don't fit on the form I know I can submit an attachment formatted in the same way as the form. My question is, in this case, shall I leave the entire section in the form blank, write "see attached" and list everything on the attachment, or shall I fill out the lines until the last space and write "see attached" into the last line and continue on the attachment.

4)Form I-485 also requires G-325A to be submited. If we're submitting I-130 and I-485 together, should we submit the G-325A again (1 or 4 copy?)? In another thread it was said that the "package" gets broken into its pieces and various parts are sent to various offices. Does that mean that even if it's a repeat, the G-325 (x4?) must be included again?

Thanks

EDIT:
____Ignore my post, I assumed you were filing an i130 through the US embassy in London.

It means one complete G-325A from you, and one complete G-325A from your spouse. Each G-325A is 4 pages long. If you fill it online, you fill out one set of info, and it spits out 4 pages with the same info. Staple those 4 pages together, and that's ONE G-325A. Do one for you, and one for your spouse.

Yes.

Fill out what you can fit on the form, and then use an attachment.

Yes. Treat each application as a stand-alone application. First fill out the I-130 and attach everything it requires. Then fill out the I-485 and attach everything it requires, even if it's a duplicate of what you attached to the I-130. I believe with the I-485, only one G-325A is required, from the immigrant. Remember that one G-325A consists of 4 pages.

Jez,

Your experience is different than jmoods. jmood is inside the USA and adjusting status to permanent resident. In your case, you have filed an I-130 towards an immigrant visa at the consulate in London.

The two paths are different in their requirements.

I would hate to give misinformation out! I keep thinking they're over in UK too. Sorry... I need to ask questions only, yet I feel greedy for only asking questions. Oh well!

Here's a secret for you (everyone else stop looking!).. asking questions can be a GREAT way of *answering* questions!

You could have said, for ex, "Have you filed the I-130 with London? If so, they only require the first sheet of the G-325a per person."

Or, just continue asking questions of the OP. It will help you clarify in your mind what the steps are, and will lead you to more conclusions as you go along.

In the meantime, sharing your personal experiences is very helpful to others! Your quesitons always benefit several other people, we've seen that time and again.
Of course, we appreciate if you do some basic searching for these FAQs but no one minds helping clarify what you have read somewhere.

Unfortunately for the OP, G-325a is one of the most common questions around here.

SOMEONE should do a wiki entry about it with the collected answers.
