Default G-325A detail clarification

Everytime I think I'm about done with everything, something comes up... anyways...

Do I need four copies of the G-325A? I've read something to that effect, but I don't see it explicitly stated.

Also, for whatever reason, my fiancee scanned a copy of the G-325A and THEN filled it out with an original signature, so the signature and date are not copies... they are originals from her hand. However, I'm now worried that the fact that the paper form itself is a photocopy, there might be a problem. Is this some sort of automatic rejection in and of itself? I mean, the pertinent info IS original. Do I need to have her resend this as an original computer print out with new date and signature?

Thanks in advance for all your wonderful advice.

Um, I am just curious how different the printout of scanned copy is - before she signed it - from what she scanned. I expect that what she scanned was originally an electronic document that she sent to a printer of some type? Not at all different from how she got the scan onto paper, sent it to a printer?

Regards, JEff

I know it's an odd question... I'm a bit befuddled by the situation myself...

Yes, the scanned paper was an electronic printout from a computer. She printed out an initial copy, scanned it to make 3 additional copies, and proceeded to fill them out and send them to me. However, the scans turned out more like xerox copies in that they have the three-dimensional gray scale gradient at the corners. It's not as noisy and dirty as a true xerox, but it is obviously copied rather than simply printed out. I'm just worried that whoever initially goes over my documents might reject it on such a formality alone. I don't know if that is overly paranoid of me or not, so I turned here.

Also, I'm confused on how many copies I need to send in the first place. I downloaded a single page form for the G-325A - one for each of us... and only now have I noticed folks talking about four copies for each... if we do indeed need four a piece, is it an exact duplicate four times? Thank you so much.

The G-325A used to be a 4-page form (4 identical pages of information, with different routing places at the bottom of each page).

But they recently revised the G-325A to be just one page. So you are fine with the one page G-325A form.

The scanned version is fine, as long as it has her original signature on it. That is to say...she scanned it and printed it where she is, then put her original signature, and mails you THAT one.

Okay, thank you... that's a relief. The signature is an original. I was simply worried that they might not even look at the fact that it is indeed an original signature if the form itself looked "tampered with" or something... just being paranoid I guess... I would love to be able to afford the peace of mind of a lawyer - at the moment it just doesn't seem reasonable to hire one. Thanks so much for all the advice.
