I'm filling out the G-325A and have a question about the section labeled
"Applicant's Residence Last Five Years". I have not physically been living
in the United States for about 2 years now, but I have not done anything to
legally have my address changed (it is currently my parents house) nor have
I filed income tax from abroad. Do they just want a list of everywhere I've
lived in the past 5 years?
Oh, one more question. Do I need to do anything with the "File Number A-"
space at the top left?
Thanks

Philippe,
"Do they just want a list of everywhere I've
lived in the past 5 years?"
Yep - that's what the question asks.
"Do I need to do anything with the "File Number A-"
space at the top left?"
Do you mean top right? Depends - do you have an A#? All questions should be answered - enter whatever the answer is (the # or none).
"nor have I filed income tax from abroad. "
One of these days you may wish that you had. You might want to correct that oversight.
Regards, JEff

Thanks for your response. Why is it important to file an income tax report?
I was living on scholarship from the Taiwanese government for much of the
time, so I figured I didn't really have an "income".

Philippe,
Let's clarify some things first, maybe I assumed too much from your comment "I have not physically been living in the United States for about 2 years now..."
- Are you a US citizen ?
- Are you filling out this G-325A to go with a petition for a foreign fiancee or spouse?
If the answer to these questions is 'yes', you will sooner or later be filing an Affidavit of Support. Among the supporting evidence required will be your tax returns.
As for really having an income or not, either you did or you didn't. If you're a US citizen and you had income you should file an income tax return even if you don't owe any taxes on the income.
