Default A friend enetred on visit visa and met someone that she wants to marry

Thus lady met a long lost classmate who is a US citizen. They are
thinking about marraige. She wants to know how long must they have been
married before applying for OAS.

They can file AOS as soon as they are married and can prove it.

I assure you that this one is for real. You see, people from her tribe
are very close-knit and in US, all of them are in contact with each
other and they also have organization despite their small size. Their
organization is well supported via Christain missionary group because
this tribe is largely Christains persecuted back home. (In fact, I
became friend with her only because she visited my family along with a
pastor whom we have become friends in recent years. Anyway, when
someone from their tribe visits here, it is easy to locate someone that
you have heard is in US.

She also has a cousin who lives herewho found some info for her to do
nurse recruitment thing and get GC - she had 7 years experience in
nursing aborad 4 of which was contract work in Signgapore. Her cousin
wants her to live with her (a different state than the guy's state) and
do the nurse thing.

The pastor wouldn't like it if she applied for asylum and so she won't
even though if she does, she will pass with flying colors.

So those of you who are suspicious or jealous, go be jealous and
suspicious at real frauds in marraige and asylum.

Where do you get suspicious or jealous from that sentence?

Just seems that newbies always ask questions paraphrasing it to be for a friend rather than for themselves. Suggest you get the chip off your shoulder. Or is that a tribal thing?

If the line "People round here sure have a lot of friends! " wasn't
suspicion with underlyign jealousy, what was it?

So you are accusing me that I am pretending as my friend?

I asked this question about my friend today after I posted yesterday
about my successful AOS interview and question when I will get my
Greencard that was non-marraige based. I asked only because I want to
give some info to this girl who has limited English much less computer
skills to find info from such forum as this one.

    >Suggest you get the chip off your shoulder. Or is that a tribal thing?
I suggest that you use your brain before you open your mouth. Or is
that a congenital thing with you?

Actually the pastor, who has half-blood of the tribe she belongs to,
forbids her from applying political asylum since she got the visit visa
under missionary sponsor with the Pastor's help in the third country
(the border country to homeland) where the Pastor has missionary for
misplaced people of her tribe. (She herself is a trained Pastor but
chose to work as a nurse primarily.) In fact, the visa was for 8 weeks
only but at the POE, the immigration put the expiration date on I-94 to
be 6 months from now. I guess, it was becaue of the type of visa
category.

The reason Pastor brought her again this time was that last time, I
had my big mouth opened and told them that there may be nursing program
that provides financial aid in exchange for schooling with contract for
service in returns that leads to Greencard. So the pastor wanted to
give her the opportunity to check into it and so he brings her back
since he had to come ehre for something else.

I knew that there were many nurses from Phillipines coming as nurse
recruits but I thought that it would be hard for her to get into such
things due to the English skill and suggested to find a study program
by first improving her English skill enough to study. Last time, they
stayed with us for only 2 days and I told her to learn how to use
Internet and search for those info once she goes back.

Because all of us (me and my siblings) came on student visa and
finished school here, the Pastor thought highly of us and mistakenly
assumed that we could help her with school admission. His instruction
to her, as i foudn out, was to make arrangement to get into that kind
of school program and enter US again with student visa. He had no clue
about all the requirement of student visas including ties that would
prove no immigration intent etc.

Anyway, this time, pastor went back in a few days leaving her wih us
and expecting us (as i found out) to buy a ticket for her to visit
where one of her close friend (marrige guy) live. Of course, my family
got a bit pi*sed off with the pastor for such expectation(s) on school
admission and air ticket but the pastor is really trying to help these
displaced people of his tribe, making personal sacrifice and so I
forgive him.

I did search some school information but found only the ones for US
citizens. Beside, I wasn't going to take the burden to help her that
much - heck, I was still in hot water with my own greencard issue last
week - though I told her that after I get greencard, and have some
sense of stability, I can help her more. Frankly, I was suggesting her
to do asylum which she kept repeating that the pastor would be angry,
eventually telling me how, in the past, someone pastor brougth did that
and how pastor made him him go back when he came to US the next year.

Only after she left to visit her friends, I heard from her about the
info she got from her cousin.

Whay am I explaining all these? I know that I owe no one any
explanation but I want the moderator to see this post and want the
moderator to know what a good job the moderator is doing instead of
being judgemental and assume fraud and block these posts.

Impressed that this unmoderated ng is quite free from spams.
