Forms for interview - just for immigrant or also for spouse?

ok just a quick question this time....

On the (IR1 interview documents) checklist it states birth certificates for all family members and & all divorce/death certificates for "applicants".

I guess they want a birth certificate for my US spouse as well as mine, and the death certificate of her previous husband?

Or am I reading this wrong, and all they want to see on the day are my own documents since I am the proposed immigrant?

Just checking

Your wife should have sent in a copy of her birth certificate and a copy of her late husband's death certificate with the I-130, so a copy of those should already be in the file. However, it's wise to bring the original of anything for which a copy was previously sent in. So, if you can, bring your wife's original birth certificate and an original of the death certificate.

And of course, bring in the original and a photocopy of your information (birth certificate, divorce decree, late spouse death certificate, whatever you have).

ok thanks, that makes sense. I'll bring even the documents sent in for the I-130. Better safe than sorry.
