Form I-864 Question
The form asks for my "unadjusted gross income" as shown on my 2003 income tax return. Well, it's NOT shown on my return! The only thing shown is my ADJUSTED gross income. So what do I put on the form? My unadjusted gross income is about $15,000 more than my adjusted gross income. I'm pretty sure I've over the poverty line even with the lower amount, but earlier on the form, they ask for my current gross income. I don't want it to appear that there's a disparity on the form. Any advice from people who've filed this form recently? Thanks! --Ed

Re: Form I-864 Question
Ed,
Yes, it is shown on your income tax return. It may not be called exactly the same thing, but if you understand what the term 'unadjusted gross income' means you should be able to recognize it.
Alternatively, since you apparently know what the number is, look a few lines up from you adjusted gross income to find it.
