Is this the correct form for a Canadian to apply for working on a farm in the
US? It asks for a US address and I don't see anything appropriate in the
Eligibility Categories. Date of last entry into the US...official entry, or
cross-border shopping?
Thanks.

The I-765 is an EAD form - it is for immigrants who already have status in the US
to give them work authorization. It is not for an employment visa form. Take
Care. Shelley

Nope.

You need an employer to sponsor you for you for some sort of work visa (H-1, TN-1) to
gain employment authorization in the US. You will NOT be using form i-765 for this.

It's also for certain nonimmigrants (A&G dependents, F-1 suffering economic
hardship).
