Well, I'vre done my K-1 stuff at the London Embassy, entered the country and married my American fiancce (now wife).

But it seems the fun never stops and so here are some questions about one of the next set of forms we have to fill in. Namely, the I-485.

Part 1 :

Social Security # :

- I haven't been given one yet. Presumably I just put "Not given at this time" or something like that ??

I-94 # :

-Where do I find that ? I guess it is somewhere on the stub (ie the white immigration thing I filled in on the plane and they stapled next to my fiancee visa).

Current INS Status :

- I don't suppose they accept "No idea". What's the correct answer ?

Expires on :

- My I-94, current status, something else ????


Part 3
Nonimmigrant Visa number :

- Am I Nonimmigrant or an immigrant now ? Where's my number ?

B. List Your present husband wife ...

- A# : She's American - do I just put US Citizen here ?

1. SSN - None,However, you should apply now.

2. I-94, it's your departure card, the white card stapled to the visa page. They want the front and back photocopied. THe number is in black on the upper left nand side.

3 Current status- K1 Visa holder, it should expire 90 days after you entered.

4 nonimmigrant visa is the number in red, printed on the visa itself

5 for A# on your American Wife, write NONE, in that section where it asks for spouse there is a question of country of birth- write United States
