Re: FINALLY!!!!!
I am fervently hoping my friend's husband, the baker, is coming to help with this.
Otherwise, I am VERY fervently hoping it looks devine, if I try it myself. I can bake, but never tried decorating *crosses fingers*.
If it isn't the leaning tower of cake, or inside a dog or somthing, I'll put up a pic of the thing.

Re: FINALLY!!!!!
A few years ago, Sheila and I were invited my stepdaughter's in-law's house over the Thanksgiving weekend. Sheila made a lovely "Harvey Wallbanger" cake (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Harvey-...ke/Detail.aspx). Once it was ready, she put it on the counter to cool for a while, and we went off to get dressed. About 45 minutes later, when we returned to the kitchen, there was a huge chunk of cake missing on one side... and Sydney, our Australian Cattle Dog, was lying on the floor sleeping very peacefully... with a big smile on his face!
Well, Sheila was horror stricken! We couldn't take a half eaten cake to the in-law's place... so she cut off the two ends on either side of where the dog had been, and sliced up the rest... rearranged it nicely on a different plate... and off we went! No one knew except us!

Since we're already a bit OT with this thread, permit me to add an amusing anecdote with specific reference to your "inside a dog" comment.

There've been quite a few things with big bites taken out around here - 90 lb dogs can eat a fair amount
