So, to those who have been around to hear me bitch about our aos case which was filed August 2003, we finally got our interview notice for May 3 in Garden City, NY. Thank God!!!!! I was starting to despair the last few weeks. Now I can actually see light at the end of the tunnel.
I have one question. In October, we were RFE'd for the vaccination supplement (hubby was a K1), and went to get vaccinated since he was not given a copy of the vaccinations that were done overseas. Since the rather unpleasant nurse who did the vaccinations here in October was very insistent that we would need the full medical as well (she said she had others who claimed that they only needed the supplement but came back after the interview as they needed a full medical) we did the full medical as well as it was only 50 dollars more and we thought better safe than sorry. My question is, my husband seems to recall her saying that the medical was only good for 6 months but I thought from what I read here it was good for a year. I'm sure there are lots of threads on this but since the quirks of the district offices and what they imagine is required are all different, any NY'ers who might know/have experience, your thoughts would be appreciated.

Congratulations and you are right and the nurse must be getting a percentage of the fee for erroneous information ... it is good for 12 months.
