Filing Taxes for 2003

Hi everyone!
If Steven and I get married before the year is out, we file as
married..correct? Now what if he doesn't have a SS number yet, then
what? If it will be too complicated, we will wait till January for
the wedding. We're waiting for Packet 3 now but I think the visa will
be done before the end of the year.

You'll have a while since you won't have to file this year's taxes until
April 2004. If you have dual income, delaying the wedding until January is
usually sound financial advice (but not a very romantic reason!). He can
apply for an ITIN if he doesn't have an SSN.

To be pedantic... It can apply for an ITIN if he doesn't QUALIFY for an SSN.

To be pedantic... It can apply for an ITIN if he doesn't QUALIFY for an SSN.
