Filing for K1 while fiance is visiting the US

Filing for K1 while fiance is visiting the US
I am planning to file for a K1 for my UK fiance sometime this summer. At that time
we'll be waiting out the 6 weeks mandatory wait from the Nisi to the Absolute divorce
decree for him. If he is visiting here at the time (he's planning to come for 6
weeks)is it a good idea to file then?

Won't the 6 weeks be up long before then?? If he makes a "clean entry" when he
visits, get married and file for adjustment.

hi there You need his decree absolute or a copy to mail with the I-129F petition ,
you will also need it to get married. Hope this helps
