Hi, does anyone know whether you can file for AP after filing AOS paperwork ?
Thanks, Jason.
Thanks, Jason.

Simply put, you can file for AP whenever you need it. In fact some offices will not
approve it unless you have specific plans for travel and said travel will not
interfere with your AOS interview. (As it did in our case.)

yes you can - bring proof of your AOS however (A#, filing receipt, maybe even copies
of original paperwork). Also, some offices need proof that you are planning a trip
within the next month or so (timeline differs from office to office) if you go to
your local INS office in person. Otherwise, you have to send it in. Third, they will
only issue you AP if you had no overstay, or one of less than 180 days..
