Angelus and I are starting his process of filing AOS paperwork. He came to the US on a K-1 visa. We came across a question on I-131 that we find a bit confusing. It's a stupid question but help would be appreciated.
It's Question 2:
Do we use choice a? "I am a permanent resident or conditional resident of the United States and I am applying for a Reentry Permit."
or d? "I am applying for an Advance Parole to allow me to return to the U.S. after temporary foreign travel."
Both of these choices make sense, so what do we use?
Also, while we are on the subject of stupid questions, Do I also need to fill out the Biographic Information(G325A), Since we have married my last name has changed. Just wondering.
Thanks ahead of time for you help.

Adia,
If Angelus is only starting the process of filing AOS paperwork, then how can choice 'a' possibly make sense? He is not a permanent resident or a conditional resident.

Thanks Jeff,
Angelus and I assumed that he could be a conditional resident since he is not a permanent resident. That's why I posted the question, to make sure before we sent the paperwork off.

Adia,
The wording on the form is poor, perhaps because of space constraints. It would be more correctly written as "permanent resident or conditional permanent resident", in which case I suspect you might not have been confused.
