Fiancee visa - the interview
Hi all!
I'm finally at the point of preparing for my interview at the Embassy in London. I had heard it was good to be able to bring your partner to the embassy with you even if they weren't allowed into the interview with you, however the details on the embassy website suggest he wouldn't be allowed into the embassy either?
Is it a good idea to have him with me or not? Because if not it would make more sense to save his holiday hours for other things.

There is really no need for him to be there. Save the holiday hours, in my opinion.

I thought it would have been a good idea for my fiancée to be with me during the interview however it wasn’t necessary and I’m glad she wasn’t either. They had a lot of delays at the embassy and I ended up spending the whole day there! It would have been a waste.
It should all go swimmingly though, I was only asked if the documents I filed were true and where we met.

If you're saying you heard it would be good to bring your fiancé to your interview to help with your visa approval odds, it won't make an ounce of difference.
As Calibound said, the interview really is just a formality where they verify documents and your application etc.

It would be unusual for London.
