Fiancee Petition

I have read the INS is against fiancee visas. Because they feel to many people are trying to beat the system. Won't say that because they don't want the political heat which would most likely come from it. That they will do anything within their right to delay the petition long enough so one or both will give up. And unfortunately the unsual result of there actions is that the fiancee feels her American fiance is not serious to marrying her and ends the engagement. Which is what the INS is hoping for.
Don't know this to be ture, just looking for comments.

hi,
i think whoever told you this is scaremongering. a fiancé visa is the correct and legal way to go. my process from my fiancé filing the petition to getting my visa this halloween took 3 and a half months end to end. not much evidence of deliberate delaying tactics there.
