Default A Few AOS Filing Questions

Hi group, my wife's K1 visa is good until nov 26 on her I-94, we will be
closing on a new house next Friday the 22 and want to use the new address
for mailing purposes, will we still be in status if we send it in that late
and they don't receive it until Monday the 25th, they may not put it in the
computer for a few days right then it will show her being out of status???
Or would it be better to just mail it this coming Monday and post date our
new address?? Ok one more I have read where I need to send in a G325A for
myself also, is this true or not, ok ok ok one more, do we need to send in
both of our divorce decrees from our previous marriages with the I-485, no
where on the I-485 does it tell me to send in a G325A or divorce decrees???
Thanks Michael Perez

When are you moving into the house? If you are going to being forwarding all your mail from your current address to your new address, then I don't see why you couldn't put your new address on the application.

That's just my opinion, though... Others here might have more specific advice for you.

Michael,
I'd go ahead and send copies of your divorce decrees to be on the safe side. There's no guarantee that when they look at your case, they will have the K1 package in front of them. My AOS interview at Dallas came up pretty fast (3 1/2 months after filing), and they had not recieved my K1 package from wherever it goes after the airport. We'd only brought our divorce decrees as an afterthought because we thought they'd have it, but they didn't. As it was, I wound up having to to re-take the medical. Best of luck to you and your wife.
