Family sponsorship to work in the US
Does anyone know how to go about getting sponsorship to work in the US via Family. Is it possible for relations like Uncles or Aunts to sponsor you to get you into US.

I don't think your family can sponsor you to work in the U.S. unless they have a company which can sponsor your H1. There are other requirements that goes with it, but you can find that out on the net.
However, your family can 'invite' you to come and visit them in the U.S. You may try to find a job during your visit. But if the visa or POE officer knows of this intent, they may not issue your visitor visa or let you in.

No. You can only be sponsored by parents, children and siblings.

In practical terms, family sponsorship is pretty much impossible. Well, it
is possible for parents, spouses, siblings and children to sponsor each
other in most cases, but these categories are so oversubscribed that you
will be facing a wait between three and well over twenty years.
Oversubscribed means that there are already more applications pending than
the immigration quota for that category and country of birth allows in a
year. When that happens, a waiting queue develops, and applicants are
granted Green Cards on a first-come, first-serve basis.
There are five categories of family sponsorship:
Family 1st: unmarried children of US citizens
Family 2A: spouses and unmarried minor children of Green Card holders
Family 2B: unmarried adult children of Green Card holders
Family 3: married children of US citizens, and their spouses and minor
children.
Family 4: brothers and sisters of US citizens and their spouses and minor
children.
You can see what the current wait is by looking at the Visa Bulletin at
http://travel.state.gov/visa_bulletin.html The date given there is the
date when somebody who is eligible today has started the process; the
country is the country where the applicant was born. For instance, the
unmarried son or daughter of a US citizen (first category) who was born in the Philippines
and filed the paperwork before April 1, 1990, would be eligible to apply
for a Green Card in February 2003 - thirteen years later. Notice that even
the fastest category still has a four-year backlog, and one has a 22 year
backlog.
That's why I'm saying that in practical terms, family sponsorship is
impossible in the US.
