F-1 applying for AOS through marriage

I am a F-1 visa holder (student). I recently finished graduate school and am working
using EAD (valid for 1 year for students). Employer is willing to make the H1B.
However I recently got married to US citizen. If I apply for AOS through marriage
will there be any problems because my current visa is F-1 (which is a non immigrant
visa)? We were married 7 months after my last entry in the US as a F-1. We have been
dating for years, but only decided to get married recently.
Question: Would there be any problems for the AOS because I am currently on a F-1
visa? Should I get the H1B first (dual intent) then apply through marriage?
Any recommendations appreciated.

There should be no problems. The key thing is that you made a legal entry. You can
adjust from F1. Find info in the "tourist adjustment" section on Doc Steen's site:

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice; this is my personal opinion, posted
