Extending K3 using I-539

Hi All,

My wife is about to send in her I-539 application to extend her K3 status. She has filed for I-485 so therefore she can use form I-539 to extend I-539 status. Just some questions we had:

1. Do we include in the original I-94 card? Or do we send in a copy? The application specifically outlined whether to submit or not for all other visa categories except the K3. Not sure if we need to submit or not.

2. We live in South Carolina. So I'm assuming the application goes to the Texas Service Center?

As far as I understand it does go to TSC, and I'm pretty sure you only send the copy of the I-94 otherwise you wouldn't be able to leave the country in the meantime. I was told when I received my I-94 in my passport for my K-3, not to relinquish possession of it under any circumstances.
