Embassy IBIS FBI check How long does it take?
Embassy IBIS FBI check How long does it take? ThAt is all my wife is
waiting on for her interview and medical for the US embassy in Spain.
DID THE DCF last week and gave all the papers we didn´t even get a
packet 3 cause we had it all already done and I faxed them that we had
all the documents ready for the interview and the lady at the consul
was very nice and said she would attach a note saying when the FBI
check was done to notify us of the medical and interview date. She
said from 5-15 working days on the check. I hope this is right!!!!!!

Why should yours take 1 or 2 weeks when we have been waiting 88 days?

We've been waiting since Dec 23, 2002. Has the normal experience been 12
weeks after INS's NOA2 (for K-1) to interview date.
