66 days actually ;)

It has been a strange 9 weeks, no touches on my application, absolutely nothing until Friday, but there you go, good old USCIS website.

How long since you filed, whats your timeline?

they got my AOS stuff on June 22nd, i'm glad you said their site didn't say anything. i've been checking daily! how long was it till you got your biometrics? i've not had anything about that yet. since i'm not working, the highlight of my day is checking the mail :(

Hahaha Jason you sound just like me, I had my biomentrics on May 26 and until Friday the last I saw anything on the USCIS website was May 27. I know lots of other posters have said the website is unreliable and I totally agree. Oh and from when I filed to when I did my biometrics it was 22 days.

Have you had any updates at all? Did you get your NOA's?

Re: EAP and AP Approved :)

yeah i got my 3 NOAs and i'm just waiting for my biometrics letter, other than the obvious part that i want to get a job as quickly as possible i also need the EAD so i can renew my drivers license. i know it could take a few months so i'm not getting my hopes up to much.

boooo i just checked their website and it says i've got an RFE :(

well it says it was on the 9th they sent it out, so i should get something in the mail either today or tomorrow. i think i know what it'll be, we didn't include the most recent tax from from my mother in law who was the joint sponsor. i half expected to get an RFE.

The RFE is likely the biometrics letter. It makes sense when you think about it. They require more evidence before they can continue to process your application... in this case, they require biometrics. So they RFE you for biometrics.

I did my biometrics today and on the website it says my AOS has been passed to the CSC which from other threads is a good thing - right? I so want to be working now and I have been making applications so I really hope I get my EAD soon - hubby is getting a bit mean now that he's just purchased a car and phone for me - gets grumpy if I don't make applications every day!!!

People are funny where money is concerned, fair play to them though it is hard to come by these days. My Husband only wants me to work if it's something I really want to do, at some point I will, but right now no. It's just great to know that I can now I have the EAD.

I hope you get something soon and you guys are all loved up again ;)

How long after the biometrics did you receive your EAD/AP? I have my biometrics 12th August. I'm trying to get an idea when I will be able to work.

Typically, it takes approximately 60 days to receive AP and 90 days to receive EAD, after fliling AOS. The biometrics happens in between that time. Things may have sped up recently, so you might get them sooner...there's no way of knowing.

Re: EAP and AP Approved :)

I was hopeful that I would receive them the same day as going for biometrics.
I knew it was approx. 60-90 days, the wiki misled me a bit, although I guessed the new paragraph after the biometrics bit that says receive EAD/AP meant 'at a later date'.
