Hi All,

I applied for EAD extension 2 months ago after knowing that I have to
apply thru NBC and it amy take upto 3 months. The local office where i
applied for AOS doesn't encourage to apply for EAD renewal more than 30
days before expiration (I know thats in pre-NBC era).

I have three question.

1. Can I contiue employment as it wasnt my fault that CIS changed the
rule and taking 90 days to issue EAD. (local DO was issuibg it in less
than a month and suggest applying no more than 30 days before the EAD
expiration)

2. what happens after biometrics, where did the application go, who
issue the EAD card.

3. when does the 90-day rule start with, the day NBC receive the
application (minus the NOA date and biometrics date) or the NOA date,
in later case 90 day should start from biometrics date.

I agree.

but what you will call it, if for example my EAD is expiring on June 15
and local DO wont consider my EAD extension request if filed before
before May15 and then NBC comes in picture with 3 months processing
time starting from May 1.
