Hi ,
I'd posted a thread on EAD renewals and worst case scenarios earlier
this week.It was a tense time as I had real butterflies in my tummy
wondering what to do if Chicago didn't issue an appointment before my
current EAD ran out.
Well, last night I checked our mail-box and there was a letter there
from Chicago telling me to come on the 4th of Dec at 11.15 to pick up
my renewal card!
Thats one worry over!!!
p.s. I filed for my EAD renewal 120 days before the expiry of the
current one...just to add some 'margin' time!!!
The total time it took to get the appointment date from the date of
filing was 76 days.
Regards,
alpona

>Hi Andrew,
I think you misunderstood what I was talking about....wasn't no
emergency on on my EAD....just some self-induced justifiable
butterflies!!!
I'd applied for my Employment Authorisation Document renewal as
opposed to Advance Parole which is what I think you're confusing it
with!!!
I'm sure all will go well with you!!Thanks tho' for the good wishes!!!
