Hi all,
My wife and I mailed the EAD application (I-765) so that she can get authorization to work with her K3 visa. We sent it to the Chicago address as specified on the form. The check was deposited approximately 2 weeks ago but we haven't received a notice of action.
Is this normal? What are the usual processing times for EAD?
Thanks
- khabibiuf

This is not EAD specific. I mailed a 129-F petition on October 16th to the TSC.
They received it on Oct 17th. My NOA date was Nov 5th but I didn't receive the NOA
until Nov 18th.
You can find out INS processing times at a number of web pages
immigrationlinks.com is one that I prefer. They currently list work authoriztions
from Chicago taking 90 days.
Hope it helps.

I filed my 765 for k3 etc around 10th january.
about 2 weeks later i got an noa saying call for a fingerprint appointment. I called
and got one the next day. note that the 60-90 time to process starts from when you
get fingerprinted.
i'll update on this group as soon i get something
