EAD, How long is it taking??
Hey everyone, I have read on many sites that it takes 30-60 days for EAD to be
processed, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me from their personal experiences
how long it will really take. I just sent mine priority mail to chicago PO Box today
and am wondering how much longer it will be until I can work. Any help would be
awesome. Good Luck to all who are waiting on approvals.

I got married to a USC, I got mine in exactly 60 days after dropping off my AOS package in the post office (in Seattle Office).

We mailed my wife's to the Seattle office May 11th, received the appointment letter
on June 21st (dated June 20th) and had the appointment today (July 11th).
It went off without a hitch too. The appointment was at 11:10 am, we arrived about
10:40 and waited till about 11:13 when they called her name. We were eating lunch at
Uwajimaya (across the street) by 11:30.
My wife also picked up her AP at the same time. We dropped off both the letters in
the 'in' box at station 6 (and where it seemed like to me they promptly ignored it)
and when they took her picture for the EAD they handed her her AP, before she could
even ask, 'Where do I go to get my AP?'

Going through Vermont, we got the NOA for the EAD about 14 days after I mailed it
(roughly 10 days, subtracting time for the paperwork to get to them, and the NOA to
get to us). The EAD card came 12 days after the NOA.
