EAD is here!!
 
Less than 3 weeks since my "bios" appointment and EAD arrived today in the mail. Non-descript white envelope, I thought it was a credit card offer or something until I saw the return address. The picture is horrible & the signature minuscule, I needn't have made such a fuss making it legible at the appointment because you can't read it! Absolutley "gob smacked" the card is here already :)

Congrats on finally getting the card. Just wondering (my wife and I are awaiting hers) does the online status site say by chance that it has been mailed once they mail it or does it just continue to say that it's been approved and is being prepared to be mailed? (Her's was approved online about the same time as yours too)

I wasn't impressed with mine, either. It doesn't look real, and the bubbles in the laminate make me look like I have fangs!

Ha ha, yeah they got me with that, because I thought they did notify you once it was in the mail. I checked the status this morning before the mail came & it hadn't changed from "it will be mailed to you when ready etc" then the card arrived in the mail. The status still hasn't changed actually. Hope that your wife gets hers soon too.

Peter, lets hope so, keep an eye out for it. I nearly chucked it in the bin thinking it was junk mail!
