We are NOT old, Patrick!
A'course, Best Buy is the Evil Empire. For a quickie retail gig, Costco is highly rated by employees.

Part of my current problem with job seeking will be which line of work to pursue, IT seems pretty full of unemployed .com workers, I have 10 years experience in CNC programming and toolmaking but this was a very stressful job back home (one mistake could cost $100,000 in scrap).
My final career option would be to start my own business building and repairing computers but that needs plenty of money to plough into advertising to get work in.

The whole job market here just seems a lot different to back home.

Easier to get a job here? not for me LOL.'
$ 100,000 for a mistake?, Darn :scared:
I wish you nothing but the best with the job hunting!!

Patrick,

Good luck on your jobhunt, have you already registered with the online jobsites?

Dice, Monster, Careerbuilder etc?

You could place a free add in the Pennysaver that is going around in the whole Bay Area, and yes do not forget Craigslist, check the computergigs that are listed there also!
