EAD before filing i485

EAD before filing i485
Hello
I am working in the US with an EAD that I received as a spouse of an
A2 visa holder. This EAD expires on 2009. We are about to file form
i-485 and I understand we will both get new EADs that will allow us to
work while the i-485 is pending. So I have two questions:
1. Can I continue to work with my current EAD after I file the i-485?
2. Can my wife, who currently holds an A2 visa and works at our
consulate, continue to work while she gets her own EAD?
