![Question](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I got a call from my congress person this morning to say that my EAD had been approved on November 30 2004 and that I would receive my documentation within 14 days....Good News....I think!! Just one problem, when I check my case staus online in still says the same thing it has since April and I called the misinformation line to be told that they only know what is on the internet.
So do I break out the bubbly and start celebrating or do I Bite my nails until I leave for Ireland next Tuesday and then there is damn all I can do about it until my return on the 6th of January?
Any opinion would be appreciated.
Cheers
Steph

The on-line updates aren't always a true sign of the work that's being done, but I'd wait and see for sure whether your EAD comes through before breaking open the bubbly. Maybe it will even come while you're gone and it will be a nice surprise upon your return.
