hello all,
just wanting to let you know that i received the package numer 3 from the montreal consulate. yipee..
gpt the medical exam on the 17th, right next door to my appartment and got my mom to send me my medical history for the vaccinations![Smile](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I got a question concerning the filling of the DS-230 part I though (the form i have to send out immediately!!)
In part14, they ask you the info about your spouse. Is it the persone you're gonna marry upon receiving the visa? Or is it someone else
Thank you for any prompt response as i plan to send it out today!!
Cheers
Krikkrak

I sent off my forms to the embassy in London a couple of weeks ago and for that question (14) I put NONE - as I am not married at the time of filing this form.
This form is a universal form so isn't specific to just K-1 applicants.
Hope this helps.........

Hi Krikkrak,
I had the same problem a few weeks ago when I went to open a provisional file for a K1 visa at the American consulate in Paris.
Initially, at question 14, I had put NONE as I have never been married.
But the woman I gave the DS-230 (I) to, reread the form, and for Q14, instead of "spouse" which she crossed out, she wrote down "Fiance, K1" and told me to put the name, the address of my fiance and where and when she was born.
Which I did, except that being in a hurry, i wrote down her first name and then her last name when they ask for the opposite. (last then first).
A stupid mistake but I hope they will correct it. :-)
Anyway, I was a bit surprised that they asked for that, as I remember I always read that you have to put NONE since you're not married.
Olivier.

Since this is for Paris, does anyone know if the same would apply to London?
Does Paris also use DS-2000?
