Default DS-157 dates of schooling and employment

Do I really need full dates of attendance for high school, a job 8 years ago etc. Is the month and year sufficient? I don't think I've any way of knowing what date I left school!!! Have trouble remembering the year

Can you hand write the form? The damn thing gives you no space to write (e.g. about 10 characters to write a school address and telephone number! I've tried shrinking the font but it doesn't work.

Promise I'll use my best writing!

Otherwise I'll have to just do a "continued on seperate page" for lots of the answers, but seems strange to say continued where nothing is written under the actual question!
